Announcing the Woodstock Film Festival’s Summer Youth Film Lab, July 9 - 27 2018, to be held at the Center for Creative Education in mid-town Kingston, NY.
The Film Lab is an opportunity for teenage students to learn about the filmmaking process from film industry professionals. Over the span of the three-week program, students will learn about each phase of the production process; conceptualizing, writing, filming and editing original projects. Students will work in small groups with a dedicated instructor. Field trips and presentations by mentors working in the field will increase students understanding of the film industry and culture. Films produced at the Lab will be shown this fall at the 19th annual Woodstock Film Festival. We are looking for students 16-18 years old with an interest in filmmaking. This program is absolutely FREE for students.
The Summer Youth Film Lab was made possible with support from an anonymous donor.
To sign up, please visit http://bit.ly/youthfilmlab. Space is limited.
Great to find Bill Heckeroth, the former owner and resident of our building, standing out front for the 2018 Memorial Day parade.
He told me an amazing story about the Kelvinator that Lee Marvin scratched up with graffiti.
