GENERAL QUESTIONS

  • The Woodstock Film Festival is an annual celebration of independent filmmaking, featuring screenings, panels, workshops, and special events in the scenic Hudson Valley.

  • The festival typically takes place in October. Check our website for this year’s exact dates.

  • The lineup will be announced in early September. Be sure to join our mailing list to get updates!

TICKETS AND PASSES

  • Tickets go on sale after the lineup is announced in early September and can be purchased online through our website or at the box office during the festival.

  • A festival pass grants access to multiple screenings, panels, and events. Check specific pass details for inclusions.

  • No, all of our screenings will be in-person this year.

    • Unless otherwise noted, doors open 30 minutes before the start of the film or event.

    • Passholders must arrive at least 20 minutes before showtime.

    • Ticket holders must arrive at least 15 minutes before showtime. If ticketholders do not show up at least 10 minutes before showtime, their seat may be sold for standby.

    • Late arrivals: Your seat is not guaranteed if you arrive fewer than 15 minutes before the scheduled showtime. No one is admitted 10 minutes after the start of the program.

    • Note that online ticket sales close 15 minutes before showtime. If you wish to purchase a ticket after this time, you can purchase a rush ticket at the venue, should tickets be available.

    • Purchased multiple tickets? Your whole party must arrive with you. Neither attendees nor ushers can save seats. Alternatively, you can print out your tickets ahead of time and give them to your party.

    • A limited number of standby tickets are available at every screening, even if it is sold out.

    • Standby tickets are sold AFTER we have begun seating for the film and no more than 5-10 minutes before the screening to ensure everyone who has a ticket has time to arrive.

    • For screenings that have sold out in advance, a stand-by line is formed outside the venue 30–60 minutes before the start time. Empty seats are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, one ticket per person.

    • Attendees must purchase their own tickets. Multiple Standby tickets will not be sold to an individual.
