SARAH JOHNSON

Sarah Johnson is an Emmy award winning Producer and Executive Producer, an organic farmer, and an activist for environmental, educational and gender issues.  Her credits include BIRDMAN, THE GLORIAS,  SPACESHIP EARTH,  THE IMMIGRANT, SUBMERGENCE, CATCH AND RELEASE, LOST CHILD, and more  Her social issue documentaries include THE GREAT HACK, THE SQUARE, CHASING ICE, THE INVISIBLE WAR, THE HUNTING GROUND and LIVING IN EMERGENCY: STORIES FROM DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS.  Sarah is the founder of White Feather Farm, an organic educational research farm in Saugerties, NY. She is on the board of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute in Woods Hole MA, Sustainable Nantucket in Nantucket as well as a Board Member for the Woodstock Film Festival.  Sarah also has started NY Carbon which converts rotting wood debris in the Catskills to biochar. She is a human rights and sustainability activist, and a philanthropist. She now resides in Palm Beach, Florida.
